this is SUPER helpful, but i have been looking around for tips on sketching out the design of a plush before i even start to transfer it to an actual item. do you have any tips or recommendations when it comes to designing a plush?

Sure! I think the number one thing I could suggest is gather a TON of plush references. It gives you an idea of what's possible and what you want your own product to look like. You can also show them to your manufacturer which helps them realize your idea faster.

thank you! I've compiled a ton of plushy references on pinterest, and it's easier to come up with my designs, the only difficulty is getting a good picture of a specific plush's angles, but i think searching on pinterest marketplace where you can view multiple pictures of a product is helpful. again, thank you!

This is incredibly helpful, thank you! I want to design and get plush manufactured someday, and it's a bit hard to find information on how that process works.

(Also, I hope we see that Werewolf design fully realized as a plush someday, I've always wanted a scary-but-cuddly Werewolf to hug!)

Did you get the prototype from your manu or someone else?

From the manu! They work to develop it with me and then use it as a template when it moves to the mass production phase.
