Hello critters!

Only a little over halfway through the month and it already feels like forever since I last reached out 😭 I have been so incredibly busy these past few weeks juggling on-going order fulfillment, prototyping, and all the other boring, administrative things that come with running a business.

But this afternoon I’m excited to sit down and share what’s been going on with you guys!

To summarize though, outsourcing fulfillment- while freeing me up to do other things -has also presented a ton of new and unexpected challenges that I’m still working through.

Things are getting better, slowly, as I become more familiar with the innerworkings of the warehouse and become a better advocate for myself and my business, but we’re still working on speed and how to better communicate (and adhere to) deadlines so that customers don’t have to wonder where their order is.

I deeply appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding, especially those that have experienced the delays first hand! 💖

Series 3 continues to grow!

I’ve been having a lot of fun noodling away at new monsters for Series 3 these past few weeks! So much fun, in fact, that I’m currently inviting followers and supporters to help me narrow down some of our choices.

The notdeer was chosen as our first community-designed snughoul, and voting to decide the final colors is ongoing! The colors and belly badge below are just placeholders until the final results are in.

The loch ness monster was also a strong contender during the last round of voting, and being absolutely powerless to resist a cute sea monster, I couldn’t help but include them in the fun too! Stay tuned for more polls to determine their final color, belly badge, and name.

New Arrivals on Tiny Teeth

The Tiny Teeth store has been updated with all the Pintopia 2024 pins and plushies!

Currently these items serve as a preview only (you’ll notice they all say out of stock) but what’s cool is you can sign up for in stock notifications by visiting the page of the snughoul you want and clicking ‘Notify me when available!’

I expect Pintopia 2024 to be fully fulfilled in the next couple weeks, and the remaining stock to hit the store by early June!

A New Sweet Treat

The gummy hydra sample was completed last week and should be on the way to me soon!

Don’t be deceived by this unassuming photo either— this critter is BIG. 25 inches from snoot to tail to be exact, with a lightly weighted belly and a body made of that delightfully squishy, mochi material made popular by squishmallows.

The gummy hydra will also come in a smaller, more beanie version that is currently still in the development phase, but I hope to share more soon as this creature gets closer to their formal debut in late summer 😉

In addition to the mini gummy hydra, sampling also began on a new critter. Something wildly self indulgent that has the potential to become a line all of its own. This sweet gryphon cub will be weighted, floppy, and under-stuffed for optimal posing potential and cuddliness.

If they do well, I’ve already started doodling some other mythical creatures! My ultimate goal is to fill a niche for semi-realistic, weighted fantasy animals that I have yet to find myself. The weighted plush market is huge these days, but I struggle to find anything that checks all my boxes— and that’s where these guys come into play.
